About Cup and Pillar
We often get asked how we came up with the name for our little slice of home on the internet. We’ve spent a lot of time really asking the question, what does the word home mean to us? We’ve both been blessed to raise children, create homes that brought joy and laughter, and spend the last 30 years nurturing our families. We came to the realization that home isn’t the structure. Home is the people you choose to do life with and the peace you create with the decor you use to make your house a home. Home is the person or persons with whom you do everyday life. It’s the joy and the laughter, the stability and security, and the legacy that you create together. Home is also the special things you use to express your style; like the favorite mug that you reach for each morning, or those ornaments that have a special spot on the tree, or that set of plates that carries more than food, it carries fond memories. Hence, Cup and Pillar. Cup is symbolic of fullness of joy. Pillar is symbolic of stability. And really, shouldn’t that be what we strive for? To have homes filled with the fullness of joy and a sense of stability? We definitely think so. So no matter what stage of life you’re in, welcome to our little home.

About Linda & Lynn
We’re Linda and Lynn. We’re just a couple friends who met when we were knee deep in raising little ones and have been blessed to do life together the last 20 years. We have a passion for Jesus, our husbands, our children, and love creating spaces that bring joy, and give a sense of peace and stability. We’ve learned that home isn’t a structure, but instead with whom you do life. But, we do love shopping and designing beautiful spaces, and that is why we are here! Our desire is to create thoughtfully curated collections for your home, whether you’re a seasoned pro at creating spaces, or a newlywed creating your first space, and everyone in between. We hope that the items you find here will be the items you pull out in 20 years, the items you pass down to your children or grandchildren, and that each piece helps to create memories with your family and friends.
